Does anyone know how to get rid of that haze look from a crystal vase? It doesn't look like a calcium buid up just a light haze.

If it's not a surface buildup of some sort, then that cloudy look is caused by a chemical change in the glass itself. Has something to do with the soda ash and limestone in the glass reacting with humidity to create lye, which causes areas of micro-cracks resulting in the cloudy look.

I don't think you can remove it, either. However, if it is a piece you own and love and not something you are trying to sell try this: wipe the interior with lemon oil when item is completely dry. It is a temporary fix yet lasts a long time and makes glassware presentable for display in most cases. Do NOT eat or drink out of item after this, of course.
