someone mentioned cisco lost a 4 million dollar contract to someone who peddles used or repossessed cisco equipments.
i recall when cisco dropped the bomb,they wrote off 1 billion dollars worth of equipment and said they dont intend to buy back any of the surplus in the market.
4 millions is nothing for cisco/but to the cisco salesman it could mean eat or no eat??

cisco must have a HUGE backlog of inventory its insane....i purchase a router for work and it broke after 8 months i called cisco for a warranty replacement and it turned out the route sat on the suppliers shelf (ingram micro) for 22 months before they sold it to me....INSANE
