Good Afternoon,

Needless to say...I'm A little miffed. I had ALL of my auctions, around 57 of them all ending this weekend. Ended by eBay. Their reason was that on my AuctionWatch Storefront page....which the ebayer can get to from my auction by clicking the AW button that is automatically generated...anyway everyones storefront has the "sign up for our mailing list" box. They say that is against eBay policy to collect and database customer information. I haven't every used the information or the one request that I did have to join last year. I'm very angry and upset. I have a mortgage payment due and now I was getting ready to list 60 more 10 day auctions. Now I'm back at square one. It saves so much time to use auctionwatch and I really like the storefront feature where they can see everything you have up on all auction venues. I really hate to have to not be able to use it. Has anyone else had this problem from eBay or am I being singled out...? I don't know quite were to go from here with them!!

Have you contacted AW about this? Apparently eBay has a vendetta of sorts against AW and I would think AW would want to get it straightened out with eBay.

There is another thread going about someone's auctions getting closed due to the AW logo not being in compliance!

I believe that all users of AW's services need to let AW know that eBay apparently isn't playing "nice-nice" and perhaps has violated the agreement they have with AW.

I believe eBay had made AW a preferred provider? If they are, you would think eBay would notify AW if there is indeed a problem with AW's logos or Storefront format so that it can be brought into compliance.

Cancelling seller's who use AW's services for non-compliance of eBay's TOS cannot be a good thing for either the seller or AW.

Hi snackattack1,

I'm sorry that this has happened. We have worked extensively with eBay to make sure that auctions are not ended because of this issue, and we have been assured several times that it would not be a problem.

Would you mind forwarding the notice that you received to [email protected]? We would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Diana

Thanks...I did see the persons auctions that were closed because their counters were supposedly too big to eBays liking. I am currently re-listed all 57 of my auctions. I'm trying off my storefront for now just to be on the safe side and I have gone into my inventory and changed my counters to "invisible". I've opted to list my auctions for 5 days so I don't have to get 5 days behind because of this mess. I didn't contact AW directly. I thought that this is were I'm supposed to post info and that they help and also it is available for others so they don't go thru the same grief. I guess I need to write to the customer service link above. Cross your fingers, I pray they don't end this round. I even deleted the link on my eBay storefront to my AW storefront and also did the same on my "About Me" page. Ebay is getting so persnickity and greedy. It's a shame. Thanks Bunches for letting me know to contact AW directly. I will do that now before I finish my re-listing. All I can say is THANK GOODNESS I hadn't uploaded my 60 auctions I had set to go up tonight yet!! )

Thanks Diana,

I will send you what they sent me. I appreciate your help and Thanks in Advance. I certainly will not be pulled from using all of AuctionWatch's features without a ton of resistance! Everything makes selling and listing so easy...it's a shame that eBay can't see that you make it easier and fast for us to list more...and then they make more than too! ) Thanks Bunches!
