I had a bidder buy an Adult DVD (not on my JRB3 Account) and request it be sent to Iran, total was less the $20 and they paid with $$ so it was no big deal.

When I was preparing the package with Shipping Assistant I noticed the restrictions button after clicking it these were the results.

Alcoholic beverages.
Books, newspapers, printed matter, writing, records, pictures, emblems and any other articles of a seditious or immoral nature or contrary to religion or accepted customs.

Used clothing.

Coins; banknotes; currency notes; securities payable to bearer; gold, silver, platinum, manufactured or not; jewelry, precious stones; and other valuable articles unless sent in insured parcel post.

Fashion newspapers.

Firearms of all kinds; weapons; and ammunition.

Games involving profit and loss (for example, dice or card games).

Musical instruments.

Perishable infectious biological substances.
Perishable noninfectious biological substances.

Radio systems that are equipped with a single sideband; upper sideband; lower sideband; beat frequency oscillator; continuous air wave band; police band; or an FM band having a frequency range of 76 to 87 MHz.

Radioactive materials.

Skins of animals the consumption of whose flesh is prohibited by Islam.

Sugar, brown sugar.

OK some of these make sense (Even the DVD)but imagine breaking the law by sending a copy of Vogue!

Just a reminder to check your restrictions before shipping international.

I thought while I was at it I would check on the restrictions for Australia which i have a package going out also.

Here are a couple of the odd restrictions there.

Goods bearing the name "Anzac."
Goods produced wholly or partly in prisons or by convict labor.
Registered philatelic articles with fictitious addresses.
Seditious literature.
Used bedding.

Out of curiosity and I looked up Anzac it is a name for an Australian expeditionary soldier. (Australian-New Zealand Army Corps)

Oh well I killed enough time goofing aound better get back to photo editing, I have a huge rhinestone lot that I need to finish listing.

That is odd about the first package's restrictions. My question is: did you send it??? I would have.

I did send it though I used an "different" return address.

I doubt it will make itr there when I noticed additional note.

Postage covers conveyance only to the Iranian frontier offices. Additional charges for conveyance into the interior are levied by the Iranian Administration.

You mean someone in Iran cant buy used clothes? Weird. So, what are you going to do with this buyer? Tell him you cant send it? I'm rethinking my auction listings now..maybe I should add that Buyers from outside the US should check restrictions before bidding.
