It seems after I filed for over 25 Final Value Fees last week, I received replies from three buyers stating they were suspended and they now want to pay for their item. Unfortunately, one of my buyers purchased a unique item which I relisted and sold to another buyer after waiting 45 days for payment. The first buyer now wants to send me money, but I don't have it for sale anymore.

Everytime I reply to his hotmail.com e-mail, it bounces because he has too many messages stored. Honestly, I am reluctant to do any more work on this transaction just so he can get "reinstated". I tend to move on after I file my FVF.

Think I should just ignore his e-mails from now on?

I would blow this guy off permanently!!! I've had the same thing happening lately-although not to the extent you seem to be experiencing. If I have to send a NPB alert and then an FVF credit I put the person on my no-bidder list and they stay there. I will check the persons feedback occasionally and if they are getting better I will take them off list. However, I don't waste a lot of time getting deadbeat bidders reinstated. It's not your problem.

Never waste your time on a deadbeat just becouse they plead for mercy after they jacked you around.

This is all the mercy I would show them.

I had a deadbeat try to pay for an item 1 year later to get reinstated...obviously the item was gone. Then they offered the cash without the item...I passed.

I had one guy bid when I relisted the item after I told him not to; this was before bidder blocking. He was NARU'd in very short order when I reported it to Safeharbor.

I've had a couple of beggars; it's really a pain because it only perpetuates not getting paid longer. Just say no; block the bidder and their emails. If they ruined their status on eBay, that's their problem not mine. I'd be willing to help out someone who was already a good customer who might have gotten in a bind, but that's the only exception.

Put a block on their emails and move on with your life. These deadbeats have already shown their true colors.

They should be marched to the village green and horse-whipped!
HAVE A NICE DAY!

I agree with capolady,

Blow they off completely and forget about them. They made thier bed, now let them sleep in it. FOREVER!

I wouldn't even consider allowing a cancer like them back into the system to create problems for others.

As Nancy Reagen would say, "Just say NO!"

I get one about once a month. Usually I just tear up the check or return the money. I have no sympathy for deadbeats.
