Hi,
I thought I would have seen something about this by now but I will let others check this out.I received this message earlier in the week and I must say it was just what I had been hoping for.I list 30 auctions a week and have never used the WBN or any of the automated checkout stuff. My friends have told me I am waisting my time but it does not take me very long the hard way.I am so happy to be able to continue with the way things are for the same $200 a year.I would like to know if there are other people out there who do not use the WBN and all that stuff.I am going to save a bundle over the other pricing options
New Annual Plan Coming Soon
We would like to share exciting news about a new affordable
pricing plan designed for sellers who use AuctionWatch's
services to expediently create and post auction listings, but do
not take advantage of the full suite of available services.
While we believe our full suite of services provides our sellers
with the most efficient and cost effective means of managing
their online sales, we want to accommodate those sellers who are
looking for a low cost means of taking advantage of our industry
leading listing creation and posting services. As a result, we
will soon be announcing the addition of a new Annual Listing Plan
designed to make it extremely cost effective for sellers to use
our automated listing services.
This new Annual Listing Plan will provide access to listing
functions and related services including: Auction Manager
listings, Auction Manger Pro listings, Online Inventory listings,
Unlimited Image Hosting, Templates and auction counters. This
service will not include Winning Bidder Notifications and
Post-Sale Management, Sales Manager Business Edition,
Storefront/Fixed Price Sales, Customer Relationship Management,
or other AuctionWatch services not related to listing auctions
to supported venues.
The AuctionWatch Annual Listing Plan will cost $250/year
with a fee of $0.06 per listing and NO final value fee.
SPECIAL OFFER FOR EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS!
As an existing Annual Power Plan subscriber, you are eligible
to sign up for our new listing plan at a substantial discount.
Simply sign up for the Annual Listing Plan before your Annual
Power Plan expires (3/14/2002) and you will lock in last year's
auction listing and image hosting rates for another year. For
a $200 annual subscription fee you will get unlimited image
hosting and Auction Manager/Auction Manager Pro listings for
just $0.05 per listing. The new Annual Listing Plan will be
available later this month. To take advantage of this
20% discount, you must subscribe no later than 15 days after
your current Annual Power Plan expires.
with the new flat rate!

I too was HAPPY to hear (read) the news.
There were some post about it on the Auction Manager board.
I do about 100 auctions a week. I send my own notice within an hour of the end of the auction.
At AW I used Auction Manager Pro, schedule my auctions, image hosting, and the closed auctions to relist and copy like items.
I think the only think I used in the past that I will no longer be able to use is the post sales unsold items listing. But I can manage easily without that, if I have too.
As for the AW store - no lose I had it for months and only sold one item out of it. So I closed it anyway.
I too will save a bundle! I just wish they would have told us sooner. I spent a lot of time looking at other services. I was tring to figure out how I was going to get my pictures moved from this service to another. But now I don't have that problem.
But gosh I don't even what to think of the time I wasted!

Hmmm, I wonder if that means they are about to charge for the store for standard plan people.

That dosnt really generate much glee on my end.I use AW as a back up for main service now. I like AW but they let the "Edge" slip way past them. I get far more features and service for a lot less than this new proposed Annual plan. If they ever catch up with the other services, Ill consider making them my first string again. I want state of the art and 99.98 % up time 24/7 - year round.

Can you point me to the announcement on this site, I was trying to find it but can only see it in your posted message, not anywhere else.
