Regarding information you passed on to the others concerning my loss, there are some points you did not make clear. First, I DID NOT MAKE those transactions, so the statement that the user has to be logged in is patently mistaken. Paypal can be hacked into, and my account is living proof. Secondly, I did talk to two individuals in Paypal and they had ZERO information regarding the progress of the case. All they could tell me is it would take 30-40 days. In your message to me you said they had not received my affadavit. Then they are misinforming you because I have the tracking number which shows it was delivered on Saturday, Feb. 2. A week later and they have not even looked at it. Great customer service. I hope you will be able help and not just do damage control for Paypal.

Damon is probably taking a well deserved weekend off. I bet there are some days he wished he was someone else.
First of all do you know that someone from paypal hacked into your bank account? If you know that forsure then I can see your hurry, but if you don't know for sure PayPal has to be really sure before they credit your account. I know that having that much money taken from your checking account is mind boggleing, when you were in your paypal account did you remember to log out. I don't know if that would make a difference, but if you don't log out doesn't that keep your account open. Have you talked with your bank, they must have a name or address where they sent the money to. Does the transaction your talking about show on your account balance sheet? I have one other suggestion. I think if you go down to the lower part of the message center and post in the PayPal section you might get faster service. I don't know forsure though. Sorry to hear about this and I hope it is resolved for you soon. Keep us posted.
