Was getting ready to list some auctions (couldn't due to "luids" but started thinking. Is anyone cutting back on auctions because of the Olympics? I figure folks who want to buy will come what may but was wondering what the general consensus is. That is...if we'll be able to list before the Olympics actually end...

I don't think the Olympics is going to be a huge factor in sales. Probably about the same number of people watching tv, just more of them tuned to the Olympics. I would avoid auctions ending during big events, i.e. ice skating finals, etc. Otherwise, I think it is safe to list. I have 105 auctions ready to start tomorrow.

Just had a $110.00 bin
while I was watching the hockey game
(slovakia lost
and it was from a guy,
and I'm a woman, so that was kinda cute,
he should have been watching while
I'm shopping
had 450 visitors on pair of shoes
but no bids yet, but I dont think it will have much of an impact on sale...
(actualy i'm hoping that part of the family will
get bored from watching and start
browsing eBay again...)
