This seller linked directly to my auction, word for word, & of course all my pics. My auction didn't have any bids yet, so I revised it, & uploaded my pics with different names. I uploaded a different pic, of course, to my original links that she's using in her auction.

Thanks!
Hopefully she'll think twice about doing this again.

Hmmm... I went to take a look at it and it's ended with a BIN.
By the way, good job!

Very cute - and put what I did to someone who took my images to shame.
Of course, you really better take a close look at your account over the next week or so to find out how much this little escapade is going to cost you.
Telling AW to review the listing should prove to be quite fun!

Just for fun, I E-mailed the seller and told them that I thought that depicting Brittany Spears as Osama was in poor taste. This was their reply:
--------------------------------------
Dear Madam or Sir
We did not put this Picture on our auction.NEVER
My son took a Britney Spears Background from another auction.. This Lady canceled the Picture and putted this Horrible Picture on our auction. PLEASE READ THE AUCTION
She wrote
this is what happens when you link to peoples auction.
Maybe we both should contact that person
I am very upset too.
We never would do something like that
i am sorry that people like this person are living in our country.
hope you understand
thanks a lot

Probably won't do any good to point this out to her - she has missed the whole deal. Good work, though. Don't get mad, get EVEN!

Technerd, I can't believe her email response to you! This is just too much! But I guess I helped her since someone did a BIN on this. Who would have guessed?

So if I link one of my auctions to the osama background I suppose you will change it to Britney or something on me, geesh!

LOL! Maybe I should delete these pics. What do you think?

LaneFamily: I think that would be even meaner.
anniexp: There may be a few people who don't visit here on weekends that might like to see it. Since the auction is over, she is stuck with it for 90 days.
I wonder if Sandar Bilotto knows that her Porcelein Doll of Britney Spears look a whole lot like Osama (at least when she has a beard and is wearing a turbin)? However, the rosey red lips give her away.

Let it run the whole course, leave it. It's great.
And the sellers mad at you !!!
How stupid can she be, crime doesn't pay & this is learning the hard way.

anniexp,
How did you know someone linked to your auction? Were you just checking out the competition and stumbled across it?

alwaysbroke: Yes I just was looking at the other sellers, & I just clicked on this one right before mine, & noticed it was the exact same ad as mine. Then I viewed the source, & saw that they didn't just steal the pics, but actually linked to mine. Also it had all the same wording, so I know they just copied & pasted, & changed some minor things like payment options.

Based on the other sellers reaction, she may be HTML ignorant and not know what her son did by linking to your auction.
Thanks for the laugh today. I needed it.

what a hoot, when I was at the auction page, I clicked on the sellers feedback, ever since ebay started the feature by adding the B and S next to auctions, it only shows that she has been only a buyer. This may be her very first selling auction. It is wrong, but I honestly believe they really do not think they have done anything wrong. I really felt she was pulling technerd's leg with the email she responded with, thinking that he was just a buyer and did not know the selling process. I am still chuckling over alwaysbroke's Osama bin-Brittny
