I sold something to someone in the Phillipines last September and shipped it on 6/4/01. Today, the package comes back undelivered.
They payed with BidPay and I mailed it to the address provided by BidPay.
What do I do? Is this my responsibilty to send back out? Am I gonna have to eat the $14 shipping fee to try and send it again? What do I tell them? This is my first undeliverable item.

The US Post Office redelivers for free here in the US if there is a verifiable address. If the address in the Phillipines is unverifiable there may be an issue.

It obviously took several months for the package to get back to you and I'm under the impression that the buyer never contacted you about its whereabouts? Cant you look up your selling history to find out his email address and contact him?

I'm glad I quit all international transactions about 3 years ago. It gets to be a bigger hassle than it's worth in a hurry.

I think that if you shipped to the address given to you (whether it is right or wrong) they it is your responsibility to reship. (Strange they did not contact you though) - I once sent a package to Singapore, and I messed up. It took 2 months to get back to me, and I reshipped at my expense because it was my error. If it was their error, well, I would tell them to send me money for shipping it again.
