Well, the IPO went off this evening.

5.4 million shares were sold at $13 each.

There are a total of 59.8 million shares of Paypal. So, their current market cap is $777,400,000.

They will start trading Friday 2/15 on Nasdaq. The symbol is PYPL.

How will Paypal do?

I don't know. But, with insiders holding almost 50 million shares, they will do well, even if they sell them for only $1 each.

Paypal has won.

I'll be watching it closely tomorrow. I purchased a few hundred company directed shares pre IPO and it should be interesting..
