I have roadrunner cable hookup for my computer (It runs fast)and I was wondering if there is a way of knowing how long it takes my pictures to come up on dial up service on other computers.
Sometimes I add quite a few pictures in my auctions and I have most of them going on app size 8" X 6" (without scaleing them down threw auction watch) Is there a way of telling if it is taking someone with dial up to long to view my whole auction .
When listing them I wasn't taking dial up into consideration. I only made sure that they didn't take to long on cable hook up. I would hate to be loosing out on bids because they are taking to long to come up. Any Help would be appreciated!

If you have Microsoft's FrontPage, there is the "preview in browser" button. That, along with an Options setting (set to 56K), will show you - approximately - how long it takes to load.

The size of the file doesn't matter, the size of the file. Aim for 50K, 100K max.
Plan on an upload speed of about 3K per second.
I checked out one of your auctions and it took me exactly 84 seconds to upload 5 or 6 pics + the background. Although, I was impressed by your pics, very professional looking and detailed photos.
Note to masujoviga : You might want to consider upgrading your hardware or technique.

Thank you for all your help. I will have to be more careful on the size of my pic's and keep them closer to 50K-70K . I like the looks of the full size pic's much better than haveing to click to enlarge, but I don't want to loose out on a bid because of the time it takes to upload. I know I hate to wait myself.
