I recently sold a sweater which I believe was an Armani (tag said Le Collezioni and after doing several searches it seemed this was an armani sweater). Anyway I put it up on ebay and someone did a buy it now ($39.99). My title did say Armani but it also says Le Collezioni which is what was on the label of the sweater. Buyer recieved it and says it isn't an armani and she wants a refund. What do you think? How do you tell if it is a true armani? I honestly thought it was. Anybody have any expertise in this area? Edited to add that the buyer claims I sent her a structure sweater, but I have never had one of those in stock. I just emailed her and explained this. I am not sure what to do. She paid paypal (instant transfer). Any opinions are welcome.
TIA.

My 2 cents says to refund. If you really weren't sure about it being an Armani, then you should have stated so in the auction and NOT put Armani in the title.

I don't have any refund policy on my auctions as it has never come up before this. I have always figured I would handle any/all problems as they arise on a case by case basis. If she hadn't said that she got a "structure" sweater (which from doing a search looks like would be on the label of the sweater and I am 100% sure the sweater I sent did not say that, but just had Italian writing on it), I would have leaned toward giving her a refund.
Her email made me pause. I wonder if I would be getting the same sweater back?
Stopwhining-- I wouldn't even know where to look for one here-- I don't normally sell designer clothing, but lately have had a few things in stock. It is a new area for me.
Thanks and if anyone else knows about the label, I would really appreciate any help.

Hi
I have been selling a variety of clothing items for a few years and that LE COLLEZIONI sounded familiar to me. I think I may have seen it on some Structure items, but then again it may be used with several labels just meaning THE COLLECTION. But if you look at this listing -- Le Collezioni New Armani Shirt 15/36 White Item # 1706090241 -- it is apparantly also used with Armani. The seller seems to deal with Armani alot. Hope this helps some ??

I sell designer clothes and many Giorgio Armani items. Armani has many lines or collections and they ALL have the name Giorgio Armani on the label.
