I signed up for square trade, and pay the monthy fee. I signed up thinking this would make my buyers feel safe with my high feedback and the extra insurance with square trade, but does anyone think it really makes a difference? Am I waisting money every month?

My guess is that most buyers do not even know/care what squaretrade is. As a buyer, I would never pay to remove negative feedback from my account.

Has anybody looked at the square trade requirements for buyer receiving reimbursement for fraud? They apparently have a policy that they will reimburse buyers who are the victims of actual fraud from their members, up to $250, less a $25 deductible. And the hoops one has to jump through to get reimbusemnt appear to be impossible in the 120 day time frame they limit you to. Not to mention the difficulty of proving actual fraud.
And if that is not bad enough, I have to wonder who they sell their logo to. I saw an auction yesterday where the seller had the square trade seal, even though he only had 18 feedback. What was worse, 17 of his feedback were as a buyer. The man had exactly 1 seller feedback, yet was listed as having superior feedback. Amazing!!!!
