Hi- I have a winning bidder who has a webtv account and I cannot reach her. I have tried mailing through Ebay, two online greeting card companies, my email and paypal...all bounce back to me.
I pulled her user info and have tried to call no less than 15 times (at all times of day and evening)...not even an answeing machine. She wrote and asked for a total, I got her note, my reply to her came back to me.
So the question is...can someone with a webtv email this winner for me and ask her to call me on the phone? I have run out of ways to try and contact her.
I just hope that whoever offers to help can get email from me...This is the first and only time I had no way to contact.

You could try from a web mail account like Yahoo or Hotmail to see if the issue from your end rather than hers. But like AOL.com e-mails, I've found webtv.net user accounts bounce quite often.
Second, try sending an e-mail through eBay's web mail system (like "Ask Seller a Question".

If you really want to get a lot hold of them, you could try hitting up the internet yellow and white pages. superpages.com come to mind. You could search on the city that is listed with eBay and go from there. You could also try google.com and search on their e-mail address on the web and newsgroups. But it sounds like you have been diligent.
Are you pursuing this because its a big sale? Can you contact the second bidder, if available?

No it is a low priced item, I just don't want my bidder to feel I did not contact her and leave me a neg for non-contact... I'll easily relist and sell, but I know she wants the item and I'd like to give it to her. Her feedback is great and I don't believe she even knows there is a problem. She probably thinks I am ignoring her.

I write to a person that has webtv and I haven't received anything from him for awhile now. I know that around superbowl time webtv email was really backed up and slow. I would think that it is probably the server (webtv) that is having trouble. Did you read why it was bounced back to you? It could mean different reasons. They can only receive a certain amount of emails before their email is shut down and until they delete some they can't get any new ones. It should tell you why it was returned. I don't think webtv can block any email address so keep trying and you should get through, but it might take awhile.

I left her a positive feedback with a request for her to contact me via phone. She wrote this morning and said she has another email addy.. I guess I'll give that a shot. I just want this to end.. Thanks for the offer of help, hopefully I'll get through to her today..sigh...

Webtv is fine for buying and selling on ebay, though there can be a glitch now and then.
As a buyer, I have bought tons of stuff and not one seller has had a problem reaching me.
As a seller, I use webtv a lot for followup and relists, and have over 1,000 feedback and ps status. <big deal>
So I think the email box of the buyer in question was simply full, this happens on other email addresses as well. I can't tell you how often I get bounced emails from aol, hotmail etc.
I just resend the email the next day, and several days after that and usually the buyer has cleaned up their mail overload and it goes through.
