We need a realistic Stuffed dog like a German shepard size and mabe a couple small breed sizes - We make dog training equipment and need something real to display our gear for photos - I have real dogs but its a pain to use them - The toy dogs are just to cutesie to use for police gear - Any ideals ?
Thankyee

I've seen some very realistic Stuffed Dogs at FAO and Petsmart.

Some of the handpainted life-size alabastrite type dogs also look really good if you can find them in your area.
We have put them in our window display with Harley caps and bandanas and they look so real that dogs on the sidewalk bark and go crazy. The best ones are the Doberman, German Shepherd or Rottweiller. But some of the Bulldogs also look good.

Ive seen them at warehouse clubs like Cosco, Sams or BJ's. Might want to give them a call and ask if they have any.

Thankyou Everyone, Ive been surfing for replica dogs till my eyes hurt - kiara the cast resin ones are the most life like The dobe and sheps are great -found a 39" shep that will eat my lunch money for a year - I was hoping to find a soft or fuzzy lifelike because the cast fur and skin buldges and the leather equipment dosnt look right . I almost need something pliable that the leather will compress. I looked at the stuffed animal site suggested - Nice but not the realism I need - Please keep an eye out if you see something - My next option may be Taxidermy shops -Gads lol
Thanks all

Hi ok4leather,
Not sure what part of the country you are in, but I recently bought a very realistic looking and large sized dog for my daughter at Rite Aid drugstore. It was cheap too ($20, I think they were $30 regular price!) You might try them.
Good luck!

Check the taxidermy shops to see if they have any returns from dissatisfied customers.

Here's one that was for sale on eBay (no kidding) too bad you missed the auction.
At least I think it's a dog!

mcjane I think you get the award of the day. Laughed so hard it brought tears to my eyes. Poor thing I hope someone bid on it so they could give it a good home. You know if it walks like a dog, barks like a dog then it is a dog.....Thanks for the laugh.

Actually I saw it on http://disturbingauctions.com/ and couldn't resist posting it.
It's a place where people send in pictures of actual items they came across that were up for auction on eBay. This one is called Pooduck. If you think this one is funny, and it is, you should see Stinky the Conch Shell Pellican, it's even funnier.
Lots of goofy stuff there, a lot of it sold too, take a look.
Edited to fix the link.
