When I was on a auction some guy had words follow my cursor. How do you do that

Dont know how they do it, but it is VERY irritating. I usually click right back out of an auction when it has all those bells and whistles such as music, "particle" floating, mouse cursor follwers and the such

The simple answer for "how" is to have a JavaScript program respond to the 'mouseover' event on the web page.

And yeah, if I was looking for detailed information about an item I was considering bidding on, that would be very annoying.

Nice to see you again, it's been awhile.

Take the advice of the other posters ^ forget the "mousetails" cute, but very annoying.

I don't know about annoying but it is distracting. I end up playing with the mouse trails and forgetting to bid on the auction.

Not good.
