I have 3 brand new old stock Buick hubcaps to sell.....the man I bought them off of awhile back told me that they were for a 1962 Buick but I don't remember what type of Buick. I have the part number of #1167382 and there is also a "group number" of 5.858 (which I'm not sure what the group number stands for......maybe nothing).......I'd really appreciate if anyone can give me any information on these as far as what model Buick they fit or any idea of what I should start them out at. They have the bright red with gold lettering "Buick" emblems in the center.....

Here is a local link you can try.
http://www.hubcapwarehouse.com/
The 5.858 is a GM parts catalog group number and only means where a Buick dealer would find it in there parts catalog. I am sure it is too old for the buick dealer to look up as GM eliminates part numbers from there catalog when a part discontinues.
Give hub cap warehouse a try. Be sure to give them the part number and not the group number. They have cross reference books that should be able to tell you.
Good luck,

Measure the diameter. 14' are for full size Buicks, and believe 13" were used on the compact line (Skylark). Buick only made 4 models in '62, so listing them as 'NOS 62 Buick 14" caps" will probably get more looks (and potential bids) than 'NOS '62 Buick Invicta (or Wildcat, or Electra, etc.) hubcaps' - The only things that will make a difference is if they are plain or have spinners on them. Come to think of it I had a set of those and they had a Skylark logo (as thats what they'd come from) rather than the regular Buick logo. Spinner caps normally bring a premuim over plain ones.
