Has anyone ever had feedback posted on a cancelled auction? I thought that once the auction was cancelled that feedback could not be left. I had a bidder that won an auction on 3/3. He received the laptop and said the DVD drive wasn't working and I had him ship it back to me. When it arrived you could see that he had pried the drive open and jiggled the latch loose so all it took to fix was a small screw driver. It worked perfectly fine. He was emailing me 10 times a day and driving me nuts so I gladly refunded his money and the shipping costs then cancelled the auction by "mutual agreement" on 3/19. On 4/2 he left me feedback. Even though it is positive, I am stumped as to how it was left. I can't leave any feedback on this auction, I've tried.

I had the same problem a few months ago! Ebay doesnt care! I got an email that was very impersonal (go figure) saying that since the transaction was canceled by mutual agreement no feedback could be left. With no answer as to how she could post a nuetral for me.

The Fact Is: The auction was completed! It just didn't have the story book ending you hoped for!
I went through the same thing once, I was able to leave feedback for the buyer. Of course he never left any for me. I don't and will never know, if it's because he couldn't or just didn't want to!
