Could just be my aged computer but downloading auction pages is so very slow,I keep hitting the stop button. Since it is AM Monday, this all seems unusual.

Yep - me too. I just thought it was me. I am in Memphis and on cable modem and it is taking forever to get a page up. About a minute per page. Something is not right. Hope ebay is not having a repeat of the same problems it had two weeks ago. The whole clothing and accessories category was not accessible for the whole day. It was a nightmare!

Just looked into check to see if it was me, but evidently I am not alone. Have DSL in NY and a white screen where Myebay should be.

Than it is e-Bay. Another thing I kept getting is a window that pops up after I go to search and type in my request that asks if I wish to continue running scripts on that page. This should be happening on Sunday PM not on Monday AM when the traffic is not all that great. Hard to figure that e-Bay whose lifeblood is the internet could have so many technical problems.

Today's a good day to 'short sell' eBay stock? The market never likes these outages.

Believe me, eBay is a lot better now than it used to be. It used to be that eBay would wait until the Christmas Rush to try out upgrades, equiptment changes, and extended system maintaince. With, I would guess, millions of complaints and angery investors screaming at them at the top of their lungs, somehow the message seems to have gotten through and they wait until Spring to do these things. That they should wait until Summer starts, when ebay is so dead that not even the dust gets disturbed, hasn't seemed to have sunk in just yet.

These "brownouts" have been happening ever since Jewelry and Clothing cats went down for two days a couple of weeks ago. I had to cancel one of my auctions yesterday for an item that normally sells very well. I guess it's time to take a break from eBay until they stop messing around and get the bugs out.

Oh MAN! NOTHING Here in Philly on my DSL line!!! Last night I listed a bunch of GREAT old garden stuff. My sales have been really slow this month so i figured I'd try a "specialized" approach. I have good stuff listed, but no one to see em'. WAHHHHHH!!!!!

White screen still in Central CA. My Ebay
and all searches are not loading. Come on,
Ebay, with all of the unemployed engineers
in SV these days, surely you can find some
help to solve the continuing problems.

-four years of ebay technical problems and
they *still* can't get it right
