I know this is a pretty dumb question, I have some desinger suits, pants, dresses, and blouses that I need to sell. However, I'm not sure how to measure each item. I've retired and I am liquidating my wardrobe!

Not a dumb question at all.
Sleeves- shoulder seam to end of cuff
Bust (under the arms all the way around)
Top to bottom
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back
Pants: waist, hips, inseam (crotch to ground)

These are usually what people ask for
