I wish we could so an ebay search for "scantily-clad female gallery pix." They are really hard to find.

NO According to ebay when you auction any undergarments you cannot use live models. If the picture of your item is imprinted on the original package, it can be shown. This is the statement you get when launching those auctions and it is imprinted in red. Time to send that to safe harbor. Your children might be looking at those. Remember that is my opinion.....and I am not a prude....just a mom...

"Obviously targeted towards people that like women. And the seller is not selling bikinis... Is this an innocent attention getter? Is it exploiting women? Does sex sell? Would you report the seller?"

What would you report him to eBay for???

Many many years ago me and hubby were Christmas shopping. He hated going with me, but I always insisted.

I'm over looking at some stuff and I turned around to find my hubby (along with quite a crowd) around the perfume counter.

I walk over and this very attractive woman wearing a very low cut blouse had the entire group of men asking to see perfume located on the bottom shelf. It also seem that all the really expensive perfumes just happened to be located on this bottom shelf.

These men (including mine) had purchased extremely expensive perfume for just about every female on their shopping list and never realized they had been "had"!

Oops! Didn't see Libra63's reason for reporting.....

Of course, I wouldn't let my "children" browse ebay unattended...learned the hard way with my visiting 12yoa niece and a "hot" underwear auction...

She wondered why I was fooling with what I was selling when I could sell fancy undies for a lot more! I had a lot of explaining to my sis about why her pre-teen daughter was compulsing about underwear when she came to retrieve her.

It looks like a bikini, not underwear. I'm not certain what widget the seller is selling either as I haven't checked. Maybe he is selling boring stuff and needs the hits?

Has anyone watched TV lately? Lots of ads show much more than this and they aren't selling underwear or bikinis either.

Where I live, in the summer months there are women that walk into my shop dressed like this and there are children in the store. So far never a problem. It's just life.

Anybody that reports this to "safeharbor" is some kind of nut.

Okay, I found it. He is selling an informational CD. One part is Receive pictures and movies of the hottest women in the world in swimsuits.

I don't see anything that should be reported.

It is a bikini, so. I guess you can report it, and I don't know what you'll get in response

The person is selling that 'CD that eBay wants banned!'or whatever title they use and I guess 24 bidders in a dutch auction could have been 'lured' in by a woman in a bikini.. whatever LOL

If women dressed like this are walking into your shop, I would like to know where your shop is, kiara?

Does sex sell?

sun818, You bet sex sells. Have you noticed that alot of ad banners on the internet have a pic of a beautiful woman? Especially the ads for digital cameras. They are suggesting I suppose that if you purchase their camera you can then go out and photograph beautiful women just like the one in their ad.

My shop is just a block or so from the beach and it is quite common here to see women walking around in bikinis. And people that are in the shop with their kids never seem bothered by it.

We also get tourists from Europe and some of the women take their shirts off to try on t-shirts and some are bra-less. When one thinks of all the bad things that go on in this world I find it amazing that a pic of an attractive female in a bikini is something for people to question.

With all the info on the CD this seller is offering, he is probably just using a selling strategy that works best.

It's obvious to me that the picture came from the CD that the person is selling. Nothing wrong with that.
