I was just wondering how much time you give a bidder to pay. I have a bidder who responded and now nothing after almost 2 weeks.

For bidders who are paying thru the mail, I give 10 days from the day they have the total, and where to send it. After that, I file a NPB. I then re-email them, and give them 7 days. After that, I file my FVF, and relist.
For online payments, I give 4 days, then a NPB, then another 7 days, and then the FVF and relist.

Email them again after 14 days. Often times it takes the mail that long to get through. Make sure to put in that they need to e-mail you back. Sometimes e-mails get deleted by mistake and the bidder doesn't realize it. This will get 90% of the people that pay after the second e-mail to respond. If no response to the second e-mail in 2 days, file the NPB. Once you get to this point, it is a pretty good bet you are dealing with a deadbeat. But revvassago is wrong on one part, you will need to wait 10 days before you will be allowed to file for FVF. Wait the 10 days. If no payment, file the FVF and give a negative to the deadbeat. Then relist. DO NOT E-MAIL THE PERSON TO TELL THEM THE DEAL IS OFF. THAT WILL MAKE THEM MAD AND USUALLY RESULTS IN RETALITORY NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS. JUST LEAVE THE NEG QUIETLY AND YOUR RISK OF RETALIATION IS NEAR ZERO.
Good luck.

Seeing as I have three (possibly FOUR) problem bidders, I'm just curious...is there a setting in user preferences to block any email correspondence from Ebay itself? I've sent the four people payment reminders, and three of them (the reminder must've scared one of them) NPB warnings, but as yet, no response. Either they're not getting them, or they're ignoring them (joke's on them when they get slapped with a FVF warning come the end of this coming week).
