Click on "View", then "Layout". Make sure "Toolbar" is checked. You can customize your toolbar from there too. Good luck!

Do you mean the internet instant search? If you do look to the left where the microsoft logo goes around and you will see Customize Links with arrows. Click the arrows and a box will drop down and instant search is there. If that isn't what you mean explain more. I have major problems after my granddaughter comes over and wants to play games on it. Good Luck

the search I am talking about is the open window across the top of the browser window where you can type in an internet address and then hit the word GO. It was there until Thursday night and now it is gone.
She has also messed up my access where I have to check the always connect in my internet options before it will prompt me to connect. Outlook express will prompt me to connect right away though. Grrrr!!!

What you are missing is the Address bar. To get it back, right click anywhere in the tool bar that shows File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools and Help. Then just select "Address Bar".

Hi, it's there you just can't see it. You need to monkey around with your curser and move things around and you'll find it. Put your curser on any blank space say between refresh and home, Right click your mouse and you will get a drop down box and at the bottom it will say customize click that and hit reset and it should come back.

One more thing if you don't get the drop down box that says customize then there is a standard on the top of the drop down box, click that and see what happens. One of those should return your address bar.
