I have some HEAVY college text books I'm fixing to auction (fixin to as they say here in the south) and I'm thinking if one bidder buy all of them it will be cheaper to mail them by M bag. Just ONE book is almost 7 lbs. I ran a search over at the USPS site and it came up just for international. Can this also be used for the US?
Also, what's the cheapest way to mail a normal book to Canada?

M bag cannot be used domestically. The international M bag rate is about 80 cents/pound. The domestic media mail rate above 1 pound is about 45 cents a pound.
Highly unlikely that the same person will buy all your testbooks, anyway, unless you are selling them way too cheap, in which case you should be selling them on half.com anyway, and this is the end of my runon sentence.

I probably AM selling them too cheap but I HAVE to get them OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!! They list over at half.com for $75.00 and up but time's running out for me to get the guest room clean! And I figured out it will probably be cheaper to send them via FedEx if they buy more than one.

How many of these textbooks do you have, and what would you be selling a $75 book for? You must have lots of books if you are as desperate as you sound to get room.

feel free to shop my auctions
I am VERY desperate to get room! It has to be cleaned out by July 19th...my wedding day! And you know how that Ebay stuff kind of takes over a house, much less a room? It's going going gone!

I'm sorry - I missed something here - What is the M bag? I've sent quite a few books out of the country and never heard of it. Doesn't seem to come up on USPS International rate site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
