Well I don't sell at half anymore, but my girlfriend does. She just emailed me asking for advice. Maybe you can help?

She recieved 2 orders, in seperate dates, from the same person, for two old DVD worth 30 bucks and 50 bucks. She went ahead and confirmed them, but checked ebays to see if this person has any feedback at ebays (you can do that now that they merged) well she told me yesterday, the newbie was a 0, signed up at half on 6/1. well she checked today, 30 minutes after this same person ordered the 2nd dvd, and to her suprised the newbie is NARUed!

i told her maybe they are NARU'ed for they didn't combine their account with ebay and half , but she told me when she checks for feedback, she has never seen a half.com buyer with a zero also being NAU'ed. she is seriously worried about mailing this stuff out, for just because half.com got an authorization doesn't mean they will actually get the money, could be a stolen credit card, thus in the end, wind up taking money from her account and the NAU'ed buyer gets free dvd's!

Should i tell her to SOMEHOW (good luck!) contact half.com? what would you guys do? I am very concered, for she must mail this stuff out by tomorrow.

I don't understand how half.com works. Why does anyone sell at half.com when they can put it on ebay? I would be a little, or maybe a lot, nervous if they could take money from my account. Do they have a phone number to call them and if they do I would certainly do that. One more question. Do you make more money on half.com than on ebay?

hi libra63, well i USED to make alot more than ebays, mostly on widgets that you may only get 2.00 at ebays, you can get double or triple. BUT when you start to sell items over 25 dollars, then these fraud artist coms in, gives you 75 dollar for something that goes for 40 in ebays, but then they file a false report with half, saying "item wasnt new as stated" even though it was factory sealed when you mailed it, but when you get it back, the Cd or game is all used up, or they will claim the item is lost even though DC and registered mail PROVES it was delivered, but half.com always stand besides the buyer, so they will withdrawl money from your paycheck. In the end, after adding the profit, and subtracting he money they removed from my paycheck, i LOST 300.00!!!

it is best to sell under 25 dollar books, videos,cd, games.never sell high end stuff.Just nothing but fraud artist over there.

There are a lot of reasons why someone is NARU'd - If the merchandise has not been mailed, I would cancel the transaction, because it is not worth the risk dealing with someone who is NARU
