I've been working with Damon to get my paypal account unblocked. In the mean time I had some auctions close and because I still had pay pal listed as a valid form of payment I was paid via Pay Pal on Friday. My TOS says I will ship two days after receive payment which because the second day is a Sunday and the post office is closed I will ship it out monday. I now have the buyers money in an account they can not touch, I can not refund the money becase I can't touch the account and they are expecting me to ship the product. As a seller I have not been screwed yet in any auction so my first insticnt is to ship the product and hope they buyer doesn't take the money back from the account. I will ship with delivery conformation so I have proof of shipment.

JMO, I would go ahead and ship the item since the buyer did pay immediately. It's not his fault. He held up his end of the transaction. Hope it works out for you!! Barbara

Good luck with the account restriction, that could take weeks.

Now one would think if your PalPal account is blocked how can PayPal accept it and if they accept it that part shouldn't be restricted. PayPal is just making more money on your account with interest. Seems funny to me. What you need to do is go in and turn off the PayPal logo and take paypal out of your TOS and quickly. What I would do if I had paypal and I knew there was going to be a charge back I would pay the buyer out of pocket and leave my PayPal account alone. I don't know if that is legal or not or do buyers just get upset and not tell the seller what they are doing.
