Ok I Won an auction using Buy it Now, and I paid with Billpoint. This was done on the 14th. I haven't heard anything from the seller and I e-mailed him a couple times. Well, I went to the auction page and he is no longer a registered user. Blast it!!!!
What do I do to try and get my money back. Like I said I used Billpoint. I also e-mailed the seller one more time today. The item was only 15.99 so I don't think I can fill out a fraud claim or whatever Ebay calls it. HELP!!!

Go to billpoint. If they won't help you, if you paid by credit card, contact your credit card Company and do a charge-back. If you used an electronic check or paid from funds on hand... You are screwed...
There is an old joke... an old father is teaching his son the shmata Business (fashion). He says, "There are Two rules, 1 Be honest and honor your word. If you promise something by April 1, then deliver on April 1, no matter what." The son said, "That's great father, what's the second rule." The father said, "Rule 2? Who told you to promise, shmuck!"
The same applys here, If you are paying by paypal, bill point, c2it, or any of the other credit card systems, ONLY use credit cards. You can use an electronic check, you can use cash on account... But who told you to do that?

I'll have to talk to my bank. What I use is credit card thats tied to my checking account. Thanks though.
Luckily my bank is in the grocery store wher I work, so they sometimes wave whatever fees are applied.(employee perk) so we shall see.

Did you send the payment before the seller e-mailed you a winning bidder notice? If so, shame on you. There is a good chance in this case, you would not have received one. Always wait for the WBN as often times there is instructions on how to send payment. However, if you did wait, then you did what the instructions stated. Do as Dejapooh states and you might be able to get your money back.
Good luck

If you used one of those check cards where the money comes out of your account, you may be out of luck. My bank keeps sending me those, and I keep cutting them up. I had to make a special request that the ATM card they sent to me was not a check card. You have all of the responsibilites of a check, and none of the protection of using a credit card. They are VERY dangerous.
