I wonder how soon the autographed "trading cards" with Meg's image will appear on eBay for auctions.

I wonder how soon peeps will be throwing darts at her "trading cards" or burn them in a public bonfire.

Are there really people who will travel to see Meg and learn the secrets of eBay??

You have to be a special kind of stupid to spend hard earned money and valuable time to sit and listen to her psycho-babble!!!

People - there are no eBay secrets except for the people backstage and Meg, who laugh their heads off at the idiots who actually paid to be there!!!

ROFL!!!!!!!!

Actually, I think Meg's bidding up the price with several ID's. Then she'll become a NPB.

Wasn't the auction at $75 yesterday? Am I going crazy? I could've sworn it was at $75.

Yes, I believe it was. Also, notice the current high bidder's feedback. Won two auctions, deadbeated on both. Typical eBay nightmare.

Yes, it was at $75. I called everyone over to my PC to look at it!

I don't understand how the bid could DROP to $10 but nothing shows up in the bid cancellation history. How else would the highest bid drop?

That newbie doesn't believe in communication. Just mail a check and mum's the word. Says so in feedback.

Yesterday, in the search for the trading cards, the auction had $75.00 for high bid, but when I clicked on the auction it had $4.99 bid. A few miutes later, the search showed the $4.99 bid level.
An hour later, the second bid showed up.

Actually the bid went from $75 down to $4.99 with NO explanation IMO. No retracts; No cancellations.

Could eBay generated the bidding to start a frenzy on the cards? Remember the Twinkie rush about 2 years ago? Hostess products were being sold for over $1,000.

Talk about DEADBEAT BIDDERS! Wonder if it is a crusader bidding on the card just to neg the seller? Remember when some would bid on the 9-11 items just to neg the seller for being greedy?

I know it is de rigueur (sp?) to bash Meg/Ebay....but I have to go on record to say that despite its many flaws...and who doesn't have many flaws?...it is the best venue ever created for those of us like myself, who have an entrepreneurial soul and few local outlets to feed it! It's also the fallback position of many who feel insecure in today's job market and many who need a part time retirement income. In any business you must constantly adapt to the current market conditions...true of Ebay as well. Those who can't adapt tend to get bitter...true of Ebay as well also!

We're just kidding Meg. I agree with Meg's assessment that eBay is going to get a lot larger. We'll all look back at mid-June of 2002 and say we remember when eBay was still that small. Like it or not, she is part of that reason for past, current and future growth.
