I am thinking this is a scam, I don't remember paypal being German. I deleted it right away.

Anyone that falls for this deserves what they get. the .ru is Russia! Even my 10 yo. daughter knows the country code URL's.

I too received this email message, and , knowing that paypal never sends this type of thing, or any email without their logo, I phoned them, they were very interested, and even asked that I email the item (forward it) to them, which I did, they stated they are pursuing it/them through appropriate legal channels-----

UM GOTT IN HIMMEL!!!!! Vat vas Ich thinking?? The last I knew P/P was in Omaha & that was in Nebraska. Their hdqtrs is out here in CA.
They do have a special warning. It is their description of the their URL including the 's' for secure server. It is very prominent on their site and has been there since before last December.
