Please Help. Are There Shipping labels available that fit on a regular 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper? I want to print the free priority conformation labels, but cant change my printer to accept the small labels. I would really appreciate any help.

if you go to ups.com they have some free shipping supplies you can order.
https://www.ups.com/servlet/login?returnto=http%3a//wwwapps.ups.com/using/services/supply&reasonCode=-1&appid=SUPPLIES
they have sheets of labels that are a perfect size for the priority shipping labels. for the time being you can just print them out on a sheet os paper, trim off the receipt and use a glue stick to put the label on. remember to tape the edges of the label down.

Go to any Office Depot type store. They have the labels you need. Such labels cost more than you probably think, though.

I think the cost of labels that you are looking for are really high, then the cost of ink, but if you sell a lot, it may be worth it. I make notes on the back of my free priority labels, what the item is, if paid, or if I am waiting for check to clear etc, Or a note to ship now,if they paid for insurance. it all helps me keep things straight without flipping through web pages or e-mails.

The half sheet labels (2 labels per page) you want are item #8555 at www.compuforms.com (http://www.compuforms.com/laz_ship.htm).
They are about $95 for 1000 sheets (2000 labels) and are well worth it.

I use USPS Piority Mail Labels for everything. I made a template on a sheet of 81/2 X 11 paper, centered it in the paper & then set it up on MS Word. Saved it with my home address on it. Now all I have to do is go in to Word, click on "Label" & put in the new address. I take a blank label, tape in the top center of a sheet of paper & print the new label. Works like a charm

Here is what is says in the new postal rates.
Delivery confirmation:
First-Class Mail
Retail: 55 cents
electronic: 13 cents available on for parcels
also per Postal Clerk on Bubble envelopes
If you are sending these Priority Mail why not use the envelopes that the post office has and then the label will fit.

I think I read your post wrong. You can change the size of print on your computer by
going to Views than choose text size and there you can change it. I use Medium. Try that by doing a sample label. I hope this helps..

if you just get the labels from ups you dont have to change anything. just stick it in your printer and print out the label. easy as pie.

I use the online usps print a label w/o postage (which comes with FREE priority confirmations). All you have to do is log in (easy to sign up/and free) and click on the
"print shipping label". Your name and return address are already on there. It is fast and easy... and I use regular paper and just tape it on (you just can't tape over the bar code). Works perfect every time and it is FREE!!

Uhhh...last I checked you have to have an account with UPS to order forms/labels/etc.
Its a wonder that they even offer them free to account holders if folks that don't intend to use them for their intended purpose just order them willy-nilly.
You are better off going to the office supply store and doing it the right way. Not ripping off UPS for free labels.
