I'm a little confused by the fees i was charged for a reserve price auction i put up the other day. I understand that in addition to the standard listing fee, that if you use a reserve price you have to pay an additional fee based on that price. Fine. But i listed an item the other day with a starting bid of $1.00 and a reserve of $45. The reserve fee was $1.10. That's ok. But the original insertion fee before adding the reserve fee was...$1??? Isn't it normally only like 30 cents when you start something at $1? So instead of paying $1.40 i paid $2.10. Am i missing something here?

The insertion fee is based on your reserve price, not your starting price (if you have a reserve).
