I now have CABLE internet provider service and thus a new email account.
I added my new email address to my paypal account and made it the primary address. When I tried to delete my old email address i got a RED message stating, "You cannot remove an email address associated with an auction account for Winning Bidder Notification". Not sure I know what this means. Someone from paypal.... HELP!

I'm not with PayPal, but I think I understand what's being asked for.
Log on to your PayPal account.
click on 'Profile'
remove the unwanted email address from your "Auction Accounts"
You should be able to delete your unwanted email address from PayPal then.
I'd hold off deleting the email address till I was sure there were no auction open that contained a PayPal logo linked to your old email address. They can still pay you via the old email address you just won't get any notices of being paid. So check your account regularly if you have any open auctions with any logos using your old email address. I hope that makes sense.

I just went through a similar process when I changed my physical address. You will need to have paypal confirm your email and most likely your credit card and checking account. When I added an optional email address for my web site it needed to be confirmed via an email from Paypal to the new email address and then I had to respond to their email from the new email address.
If you have an auction running Im sure you can't delete the email address you are using.
