Well, as much as I love Lance, I guess in my enthusiasm and ignorance (really no other word for it!)
I thought the USPS tyvek envelope was the one rate envelope.
I basically $%&!ed myself out of $8 because I didn't do my homework. One package cost $9 versus my $4.30 quote!
LOL...ahem...sniffle.
Oh well. And the jerk behind the counter was so rude explaining the minimum size envelope for DC.
I don't have a scale, so how can I use those mail rate script rates?
How much is a postal meter? How many pounds do they go up to?
I love selling, it's fun to meet peops and even my late payer paid.
But I get to the PO and I feel like joining the official JACKS WEBB FAN CLUB (I assume it's all caps...hehe)
So how to do my TOS so that I don't rip myself off....
Hey...my feedback is up to 25!!!
I have a bid!
Yay!
Japerton
ps I won't email the bidder for more postage, it's my mistake and it would be not fair to do that.

>>the minimum size envelope for DC.
Just to clarify, there are no size requirements on Priority Mail with DC. The size requirements apply only to First Class and Package Service (e.g Parcel Post) DC.
If you ship only a few packages per week, you can create a fully-posted label at the USPS Web site using your credit card:
http://www.usps.com/shipping/label.htm
If you have a heavier shipping load, you probably want a client-based PC postage software solution.

Don't think you are alone in this. We are all subject to mistakes with the new postage. As far as a scale is concerned do as I did, get one at a second hand store or a garage sale. I have a kitchen scale that weighs up to 25 lbs. Most of the things I sell weigh over a pound so I don't have to exact. If something weighs over 2# & less than 3#, then it goes for the 3# rate. If it is 3# or more, I ship FedEx Ground unless it can go Media Mail. I'm a lucky one, its only 1 mile to the FedEx office & 5 miles to the PO
