Box sealing tape on sale for $.39 per roll from Viking Office Products (1-800-421-1222 or vikingop.com). You have to buy 72 rolls to get that price but the shipping is free!

Make sure you know what you are buying because a lot of those bargain tapes are just total crap.
They do not stick well at all!

You are better off buying good quality tape at a higher cost, they will save you money in the long run.
Low cost is not always such a bargain in the end.

It's good tape, I've been using the same tape from Viking over the last two years and it works great. But I've never seen it this cheap!

Sure hope you get what you expect.

I have bought cheap stuff and had to use two or three layers on each seal since it was so thin and flimsy. And a nuisance to dispense.

In any case, you have been alerted.

The lowest price says 58¢ per 72, where on the site did you find 39¢?

I use the flimsy stuff from Office Depot and the key is I've never had any reported problems.

Guess I will switch to Viking. You can even get the standard rolls for only 10¢ more.

The $.39 price was on the front cover of the latest catalog they just sent me. It's not the strongest tape, but it works fine for small packages and it's better than USPS priority tape.

viking does not carry inferior products, but most of their products are not cheap, free shipping is not really free because they charge more for their products.
but 39 cents from viking is cheap, but 72 rolls.
i thought parrotheads is 25 cents per roll, but you pay ups ground.
with business being so slow, how many of us need 72 rolls??

Prices are meaningless if they don't tell you how many feet of tape are on the roll.

I use the "good stuff": 3M premium carton sealing tape. I get it at Costco. Is it cheap? No. But it's the best. I've tried the flimsy stuff and it's just a nightmare to work with.

The Viking price must be for the 54.7 yd. roll.
I recently rec'd. a free sample from: https://www.tanles.com/quicktach/
I think you can still get a two roll sample from their web site. I just bought 36 rolls of their 110 yd. tape for .77 a roll. This price includes a 20% discount offered to eBay Powersellers. They ship quickly and have immediately answered all my email questions.
The quality of the tape is very good. I prefer the "crystal clear" look of the tape, unlike others that are slightly clouded.
