My sales were going fairly well on eBay until this past week, and now they have slowed to a standstill.

Anybody else having this same experience, or is it just me?

So hard to predict from week to week what is going to affect sales--the stock market, the weather, people going on vacation, people spending $$$ on back-to-school items instead of eBay stuff, etc.

The past few weeks were very bad, but this week I have sold 50-60% of listed items... I actually have 30 items packed and ready to ship from this weekend's sales. (I doubt I shipped more than 30 items in all of July..)

It's awful. Out of 50 current items, I've only had 3 bids over the last 5 days. Usually I would have 10-30 bids by now.

You say that you had 100% sell thru for how many listings was that 1 auction 1 sale = 100% I have been running about 10 to 20 auctions per week this summer and the best I can seem to do is 25%

I usually run 15 to 20 auctions per week with about 50 to 60 per cent sales. I have 5 going off tonight & 4 are sold & the other has a bid that is below the reserve. I think that summer is always slow, not just this one. They all sold!!!!!!!

Perhaps the question should be is it slow, slower or slowest?

Frankly, I have never seen it this bad - and I usually do all right during the summer. It's some slower, but survivable.

I've had 61 items listed since Tuesday; received a bid on one item Tuesday night almost immediately, and just received a bid on a second item this evening.

I keep throwing more and more on, thinking if I list enough.... - you know the old saying about throwing enough of it against the wall and some of it will have to stick? - well, I'm about to disprove that old adage. And the eBay bill in proportion to what I have sold is painful!

Just don't know what to do next.

For me Yahoo has been selling better than ebay. Not sure why, but I will take it.

Have gone from 100+ auctions running to 15-20. Some of my competitors are selling the same items for little or no profit; makes me wonder if they are just listing to gain feedback or attempting to discourage me from listing on eBay. Might be working.....
