I had a bidder who bid on 12 of my auctions in June, whom I had major problems with, filed NPBs along with other sellers to her. I found out that she had previously been NARU'ed under another user name...eBay needed more proof than the fact that she was paying out of the paypal account anchored by the NARU'ed name's email address. To make a long story short, she got herself reinstated, and now has negged me TWELVE times. She paid me and I refunded the money after eBay told me that I had no obligation to complete a transaction with a NARU'ed bidder and no obligation to lift NPBs. I filed complaint with eBay Powerseller Support and they have forwarded it to Feedback Removal. The nature of her negs all say that I didn't ship after she paid and she had hard time getting money back....leaves definite impression that I an dishonest, deadbeat, etc. ADVICE PLEASE!!! I have over 6000 feedbacks, over 4200 from unique users, had 23 negs total before this...to say I am distraught is mild!

I would list the item number of one of th eauction on this board for everyone to see whom the idiot bidder was, so they can be added to the unauthorized bidder list.

Hopefully ebay will remove the negs.

eBay may give special consideration to remove feedback upon request from members if the listing ended before the member was suspended, but the feedback was left after we reinstated the member.

eBay will probably remove the negs. I had something similar happen to me. An individual opened an account and began winning auctions all over the place. As soon as the auctions were completed this person immediately began negging. I had 6 of them at one time. I emailed eBay and after they saw what had happened they did remove the negs. If eBay does remove the negs please don't forget to thank them. I sent them a thank you email and received a very nice response. A little kindness goes a long way.

Wow, you had 23 negs before this. Hope that doesn't work against you for getting the bogus ones removed.

Caffeitalia....HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY NEGS I HAVE WHEN MY AUCTIONWATCH USER NAME DOESN'T MATCH MY EBAY SELLER NAME??????? WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU?????

I will be changing my auctionwatch name, looks like. In any event, the negs have been removed and three other user names this bidder has have been NARU'ed. They couldn't NARU her 4th on a technicality, but expect her to be NARU'ed with this one shortly.

I have to give kudos to eBay Powerseller Support on this one; the negs were removed within 24 hours of being posted....sure feel vindicated on this one!!

ebay will probably remove the negs. This seller could have opened a new account and won a number of your auctions and waited a couple of weeks and then left negatives and then you would be out of luck.

susiegirl You posted in your initial message here how many negs you had. But still that is not bad for as many feedbacks as you have. It shouldn't have a thing to do with eBay removing the 12 your just got.
Good luck but I think you should apologe to caffeitalia (even if she was a bit out of line with the remark as it is still just 0.3% of your total feedback - kudos to you.)

My most humble apologies to caffeitalia, guess I am a little paranoid after this experience of the last three days! Thanks for the compliment...I do think that with over 6000 FB, over 4200 unique FB, that 23 negs is actually quite low! One other thing re caffeitalia...have read some of her other posts and same vein, pretty critical of the posters and judgemental. The fact is that even if I had had 100 negs, that has nothing to do with whether eBay should or would cancel an undeserved retaliatory neg.

Thanks for posting the follow-up, susiegirl. Glad to hear that ebay removed the negs and that some of the other IDs were NARUed.
