I recently printed a label online and thought that it was a great service. I then downloaded the shipping assistant and find the 2 to be different. I know that when printing a label online that I can pay with my credit card. Is that the same with the shipping assistant or do I print the labels and then pay at my Post Office?
I really like the shipping assistant but won't use it if I have to pay at the Post Office. I want to be able to email my customers and print labels for Parcel Post but that can only be done with the shipping assistant.
For those who have used the Shipping Assistant, how do you pay?
Also, do you have to use Delivery Confirmation with Parcel Post? I can't seem to turn that option off.
Thanks for all of your help!
Katrina

Shipping assistant is great, I love it. You can sign up for payment online but I don't pay till I get to the post office. Reason is, I use to, but if I have a printer
problem, I have to take that to the post office for a credit, and they don't want one at a time, they prefer $25 or more for credit. But then, that might be my post office rules. You already know the weight and what the delivery confirmation is, so I already have the check made out and ready to go when I get there. Hope this helps you a little.
Endicia solves the payment issue, as you print the postage along with the label. You then can drop the package in any USPS collection box or give them to your carrier.
Endicia is a fee-based service however. You can try it for 30 days without fee to see if you can justify it in your business model.

I use Shipping Assistant to get the reduced rate on eDC on First Class & Parcel Post. I don't know of a way to pay online when using the Shipping Assistant.
