Was wondering if any of you have been using it and if it helped sales?
I listed my first and only fixed price item last week and it did sell.
Only thing I didn't like was that I didn't receive any questions till the last 3 hours. And it didn't get purchased till the last 5 minutes just like it was sniped. It went like any other auction-at the end!
Just put in another item we'll see how that goes!!

My first fixed price offering sold out all three items. The few I ran since had no sales at all, so I am back to listing one item at a time with a BIN
I think the fixed price only makes sense if you can save a little on the insertion fees by offering multiple copies.

doing featured auctions with them is the way to go really. Also if you list 15 of the same thing and bold it for about 4.40 you can give 15 items great coverage. I hope that it eventually gets rid of the clutter that is on ebay currently.

So far for me, no luck on the fixed price auctions, but have had some BIN auction listing sales. I hope this changes soon as I do like the fact there are no BIN charges in the fixed price venue.

This remark refers to the BIN feature rather than the Fixed Price Feature.
When I research an item to sell on ebay I often find the most sucessful sellers of the item are the ones that use a BIN price. It's worth that 5 cent gamble to get a much higher price from either an impatient or impetuous buyer. Also many bidders are leery of the auction process and are using ebay only for BIN purchases.

Listed my second fixed price item last night. When I got up this morning it was sold! Much better than the first item, which sat all week! This sale went off as I hoped fixed price would! Looks like the fixed price may be a better way to go. At least so far it appears that way to me!
