My finger is getting sore....When I have hot auctions I bet I check or refresh my page several times an hour. Starts at 6am and ends around 11pm....A true auction junkie. On the other hand, if I have a bad weekend and the garage sales suck, (bad auctions, unusual) I wont even pet my dogs! Ebay owns me!!

Several times a day, especially when I have something hot for sale. I like seeing how the numbers move up and also studying when bidders and watchers are likely to be doing that.

I confess, another junky here.

When I have hot auctions up my blood races and I refresh several times a day.

My kids laugh because AW is my home page, hey it beats ebay for a home page!

LOL!

Twice a day, In the morning, & in the evening. I can't get too excited about an auction. If I have auctions closing, at 11:00Pm, then sometimes I check before going to bed. Otherwise I check in the morning to see if an item sold. After 4 yrs. I don't get too excited anymore.

I remember when I first started on eBay and would check my auctions every half hour. Back then items where bringing unbelievable prices. Now over 4 years has gone by and sometimes I forget to check my auctions all day if none are coming off that day. The fun has gone now it is just a job.

The refresh button has worn out on my keyboard - LOL.

I agree, when I first started, I would wake up in the middle of the night to check my auctions - prices were so great back then (oh the good ole days).

Now, I refresh during the last 5 minutes of auctions that have some (any, I should say) action on them.

I still check my auctions daily, but not nearly as much as I used to. I check in the morning, in the afternoon & in the evenings before bedtime. This is good in case I think an item should be doing better & I can then decide to stick it in another category for the remainder of time.

Wishing for the good ole days again!!!

On some browsers (Opera, and others)you can set up an auto-refresh, and that takes a lot of the pain away!

In AuctionTamer, it automatically updates your auctions the closer they get to ending - every time you get a new bid, you hear a coin jingle.

A fitting sound, if the bidder actually pays.
