Hello!
I signed up for Andale last month and did some auctions with it. However now when I sign in I get nothing (I wanted to check my old listings and add some pix to relist....)- I go to ad archive, sell, etc. and I all I get is sales stuff to sign up. I cannot locate my old ads, or anything. I don't really know what I am doing wrong.

Is there some way to get around the site I am not familair with?

Thanks!
Lauren

Shouldn't you post this on an Andale board? Not many people here are going to be able to answer you.

Email Andale's customer service. They are pretty good at responding quickly. I thought about using them awhile back and sent them an email asking them about their features, and they replied within 24 hours.

Thanks to those that helped and I'll contact customer service.

I didn't realize it was such a TABOO to post this question here. I've been posting and participating at AW for years and needed some help.

I'll take my question elsewhere. Thank you.

Lauren

Andale has one million registered users to AW's one hundred thousand registered users, maybe less after the latest images fiasco. Try Andale.

For me, andale is WAY too expensive and I already have my inventory on AW.

One million users?

Bull.

Maybe if you counted everyoe who ever used Honesty counters, but as far as "Real" Andale users, I have serious doubts about that number.

I'm not an AuctionWatch cheerleader (I use a whole different service that I'm not going to plug here), but I do think they have at least as many, if not more, users than Andale. And certainly better pricing.

I don't understand why there are people on this web site that don't use it. If you don't use A/W then why the He## are you giving us your biased opinions? If A/W isn't good enough for you, then why are are you here? I have used A/W for over 2 years & have had less problems here than on othe such sites. I get tired of bitchers.

near bottom of the page under The About Andale section

Andale has more than 1 million registered users and the company's counters service now drives more than 90 percent of all listings on eBay each week.

AuctionWatch also expanded its customer base to nearly 100,000 online sellers, up nearly 3 times more than the previous year.

If Andale's doing so well, why are they calling me every month on the phone to switch over?

I HATE TELEMARKETERS EVEN MORE THAN SPAM!

Robertsmithson- So from that quote I read that they ARE counting the honesty counters. I do NOT doubt that there a million honesty counter users. But that's just not the same thing as paying customers using their auction management services.

Slabholder- Now THAT's an AW cheerleader!

The article states that 90% of all ebay auctions run Andale free counters. There are 8+ million ebay auctions running on any given day. You do not have to be a registered Andale user to use a free counter. Therefore I assume those are fee paying sellers.
I do not use Andale and agree with those that say it is overpriced. I also do not use AW or any other third party service as I only run about 10 auctions a week on ebay and several hundred on Yahoo.

I may sign up with Andale for this new ebay research tool at $2.95/month when it is unveiled though
