Hello you helpful people,
My idot of the week is from Japan, USPS postage for this 8.5 pound package is well over 25.00, the item is less- the Problem I can not see that fed ex or UPS ships to Japan to even find a rate- Is there some where I should check? I hate to waste the time on low end item but..ah customer service.

japan is in the drop down menu. you actually need to scroll up to pick japan.

I usually use either airmail letter post,
or global priority (small or large fixed fee envelope)

But 8.5 pounds? Depends what you are shipping - I've used M-bag for books.

Otherwise $25 doesn't sound unreasonable...

I knew I would find help here, THANKS I did not read UPS completely before I cried for help, sorry.

I am shipping dishes vintage, in original box and new, but not hard to find on ebay so the price is not great- we will see if he pays?

My Japanese bidders have always been the very best and they have all honored their bids and notified me when shipment has arrived. None have complained about the postage either.
