I just had a bidder retract 8 bids in one day on my auctions. I thought this was a little unusual, so I checked his feedback.

This person needs retracted from eBay. No way all of those could be considered legit retractions, well unless the guy is an utter moron and doesn't know what the hell he is doing.

It is easy to figure out why he is still on eBay. No one has ever turned him in. Not one negative feedback & has almost as many retractions as positive feedbacks. Maybe mipakco you are the first one to check on him. If he had only retracted 1 bid, you wouldn't have been suspicious & wouldn't have checked on him either. I surely hope you report him to eBay.

He left as a reason for all 8 retractions: "Not what I wanted" (Funny, 8 retractions was not what I wanted either). The thing is he also had 3 other bids on my auctions which he didn't retract. He left me 3 positive feedbacks immediately upon the end of those 3 auctions (I'm guessing he does this so I won't turn him in). He then emails me that he has paid for the 3 auctions with paypal. I check my account, and surprise surprise, no payment from him. I emailed him about the paypal not being there, and I'm still waiting for his reply.

He wasn't shill bidding. He was the only bidder on those auctions. With 330+ retractions in the past 6 months, I think that's how he got his jollies. He still hasn't contacted me about the paypal payment for the 3 items he didn't retract his bids on. (He emailed to say he paid this morning, but there was no payment received from him in my account). I emailed him to straighten it out, but no reply so far. I won't hold my breath on this one.

The bidder finally emailed me back concerning the payment and his suspension from ebay. See if you can decipher his email. I sure as heck can't. (Cut and pasted directly from the email:
