Does anyone know the correct name for this Christmas "thingy"?? I know that you put candles in the holders and the heat turns the blades at the top, but I cannot put a name to it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
(now let's see if I can do the link correctly)

I didn't get to see your picture but from the description, it sounds like a Candle Carousel. They are very popular in Germany, where there are dozens of variations of them.

Hey, Slabholder, you're cute (except for those funny nostrils)!

Thanks, Traderjones! I actually thought there was some German name for my "thingy", but Christmas Carousel will work just fine.

Maybe something like this. The heat from the candles powers the motion.

I found an auction for an authentic swedish klockspel...#717761695. Is that the right name?

Klockspel translated means "chime". Since that is a metal carousel, the heat causes the chiminig of the bells. My carousel is wooden and in fact, very much like the one tooltimes referred to. I appreciate everyone's help. Once again, you guys are great and I learn SO much on this board.
