Maybe they're all doing their long over due fall cleaning~yard work or checking out all the new fall shows on TV!!! Did I say TV .... uh .. excuse me but what is that ??!! After selling on ebay hardly ever watch !! LOL !!
LAST FEW WEEKS HAVE BEEN LIKE THE OLD DAYS OF EBAY WITH LOTS OF HIGHER BIDS but have noticed that the last 5 days or so seem to be slowing down again Bummer double bummer !!

We had quite a few auctions end today; most without bids, but a few "above average" ones ended with a bid right near the closing of the auctions ... not too bad over-all. ... also, just within the past half hour, quite a few bids put in on our auctions that are ending on tuesday. hmmph. i don't get it.
If America was doin' the kinds of things our family did today, they were out golfing, then stuck to the TV ballgames. ... [i.e., NOT hangin' around ebay] ... ... have a great week everybody! ...

I had several items with no bids, but some of my collectibles did outstandingly well! A trivet I paid $1.65 for sold for $126 (I got 3 for $5 at a thrift shop, porcelain, and of course I'll sell the other two in a while!); a $5 book for $60, another $4 book for $44; a vase with two chips (paid $5), $42. But generally the bidding didn't do as well/sell as many items as last week.

There were plans for an ebay TV show but I haven't heard anything about it for awhile so I don't know if they still plan to launch it. Auctionbytes and some other sites had some info on it.

Hi kiara ... yes, i remember hearing about that too, last Spring .... the article you linked to said mid-to-late Sept. planned pilot, but i sure haven't heard more on it yet either .... i guess this wouldn't be the first good idea ebay decided not to do, eh?

I had the best week for sales since last January. I just hope it keeps up. Now that the kids are back in school and online shoppers are starting to think about
Christmas, things should be picking right up. I just figured it was starting now. Specially with the success with the FLD listings at Yahoo to jump start sales everywhere.

Kiara that's great I guess you get to be the Excutive producer of the show! I think we may all need a job on the show JACK, I think bidding may get slow with a war at least for a while CNN will be on instead of the internet!

I have not had any bids this weekend either, I thought it was just me. Seems like the only items that were bid on were the items I was bidding on. Maybe I should bid on all of your items, then, it would be a safe bet that I would get outbid!!

I don't think it should be an eBay show but the spooks or cookes at AW starring, Jack as MC and the beat goes on. Graphics and design by Trai and Kiara, Produced my mimic, since he has all the money and starring yes all of us, because we all want to become millionaires. Is there a writer in the crowd?
BTW- to keep on topic not many bidders here also. Last week was gangbusters this week zip.
