I'm furstrated right now. I won an auction for an item I wanted at a great price. I sent an E-mail though Ebay to the seller for total amount due at EOA which was on 9-19 and an address to send it to. I never heard anything back. I contacted them today 11 days after the EOA. to again ask for payment total and address. I received a call from them telling me they sent a few E-mails which I never received and one call which I don't have on my answering machine. Their TOS says "Auction winner must contact us with a promise of payment date within 3 DAYS of auction end or item may be re-listed or offered to another buyer." They left me a message saying I could call today and pay pal them the money or it goes back on E-bay. I called them and they told me the person they were selling it for no longer wants to sell it because I took too long. The other part of their TOS says "Payment must be received by us no more than 14 DAYS after auction end" so if the auction closed on the 19th Thursday Oct 3rd is 14 days. I thought you couldn't sell an item you did not have.

I'm upset because I wanted this item I tried to pay for it, but never heard from them and according their terms I should still be able to get the item.

No Nuetral.

Neg! They are a worthless seller and also report them to ebay ( nothing will happen, but will give them a bad mark.

Just state the facts in the Neg and don't get nasty or emotional.

Should I give them neutral feedback or none at all

When ever in doubt go for the lesser of the two measures. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Leave no feedback.

Yeah, but by giving them a Neg, other bidders who have been screwed by this seller might decide to give them their appropriate Neg.

There is no excuse for continuing an auction, if you don't intend to follow through.

I am happy to say that 75% of the sellers I have negged have been NARU'd.

Once a seller I negged had no other negs, until it seemed I opened the gate... quite a few other bidders joined in and that seller was bye-bye.

Leave no feed back!Almost all sellers have the information on how to pay when the auction closes look at the url it should cleary states how to pay I think some forget sellers are selling to hundreds of buyers that some times ask ten questons well that is 1,000 emails.and buyers are buying more than one item it works both ways I strongly beleave it is just a lack of communication.
oh and buyers should not haft to ask for a total and sellers should not haft to reply with one it should be automatic at the end of the auction on the url although it would depend on what is being shipped and to what destination it is being shipped to.if thats the case then both should communicate by requesting a invoice or sending a invoice. Both partites should be patient and work it out and that should be easy to do.
