Anyone else confused over the USPS Zone chart Rates. Hair2dye4 says since she is blonde use small words, well I wish the USPS would use a simpler chart. I turned gray over 15 minutes trying to figure out what to charge. Now I know why I don't want to ship large items. I hope next time I purchase an item that goes over the zone 1 limit someone shoots me....

Yes you would send me to a fairy lamp auction. I just love those. Can you use that with the new announcement from ebay about HTML? and where do you get something like that? Now just one more question. Can I fix it to calculate it from my zip code? I hope this isn't to tough for me to do.

I use the rate calculator at the USPS site. You must know the zip but the winners zip is on the auction page and any potential bidders can mail you their zip.
If EVERY ebay user had their zip code right after their ebay ID life would be so much easier.

Coffeemug-Thanks. Now I must get to bed so that when I wake up in the morning things will look easier. If you know what I mean. No I do not drink. I am going to try this but I only have to put it in my auctions that require it and I hope it is not to many more. Oh I forgot I have a whole set of dishes that I am going to sell piece by piece and that will require this calculator.
My main selling item is jewelry and that goes 1st class. Thanks for the quick answer I appreciate it.
Tooltimes that is what I used and the first thing I did was put the wrong zip code in the postal zone chart so may packages were all going for $10.00 then after about 1/2 hour I figured I had done something wrong and I went back and straightened it out. Thanks to you also.

I don't know why everyone is having such bad time trying to figure ou rates USPS has a rate chart & you can download a zone chart based on your local Zip, You can do the same with FedEx Ground. Maybe you can do the same with UPS.

Here is a desktop program that works a lot like the mrb411 calculator.

It's a real time saver. I rarely go to the USPS web site for Priority Mail calculations anymore.

Sanmar-I retired from a very exhausting career and I wanted something to be simple. Well guess what eBay isn't simple I found out, but I am still around, and now the USPS has made it more difficult. This is the first auctions that ended that needed zone mailing and it took, now don't laugh, about 1 hour how to figure out two auctions and they both went to the same zip code. Well with the help of posters in this thread I hope they have made it easier. I try, notice I say try, and do actual mailing charges sometimes I am a little off but not by much but with this system it makes it more difficult to be accurate. Thanks all
