I upgraded my account last week. Auctions ended yesterday and I send out the AW WBN.
Had a number of buyers pay with paypal. Logged into my paypal account and find a number with payments waiting to be accepted. All the buyers have confirmed addresses, so I click on accept and get the following message.
"You must be a Verified member to accept this payment.
To accept this payment, please verify your account now. PayPal requires that accounts receiving payments from our Web Accept, Instant Purchase for Auctions, or Winning Bidder Notification features be Verified. This increases the security of the PayPal network and lowers your risk by completing one of the requirements of our Seller Protection Policy.
You can also refuse this payment and continue to receive payments using other features. But to ensure that you can always receive payments - verify your account today!"
What feature am I using? Is the AW WBN a speacil feature that requires verification? If so, please point me to the place here at AW that warns me that I need to be verified with paypal to use the WBN.
Need advice on what to do about the payment and the buyers.
I'm not able to get verified and would never have upgraded the paypal account and/or used the WBN if I'd known there would be a problem like this
All I can think of is to refund and ask the buyers to understand and repay by logging in. This puts me in a very bad situation.

From paypals site.
"Some accounts, at PayPal's discretion, may become Verified without completing the bank account confirmation process. In order to become Verified without completing the bank account confirmation process, an account will have completed an alternate Verification process determined and administered by PayPal. Accounts eligible for an alternate Verification process are determined solely by PayPal and will be contacted by PayPal."

Before we get into another paypal discussion why don't you go to this url and ask a questions in there this is PayPals place in auctionwatch. You might get an answer faster than 3 pages of arguing.

The payments of the buyers who did NOT click on the link in the AW WBN, but logged into their accounts and sent the payment all show as complete.
It's only the people who clicked on the link in the AW WBN that show incomplete. And I can't accept them because I'm not verified.
