I don't know much about Capodimonte other than it's hand-done flowers... I came across this nice basket the other day and am wondering how/where to list it.
Anyone care to help me out? There's no markings on the bottom at all. Looked like there was a paper label but when I cleaned the piece the glue residue washed off.

This is a problem with Capodimonte & also Fenton. At one time they pasted labels on the base. After several years, moisture and cleaning caused the laberls to disappear. All you can do is state that the piece resembles capodimonte. No way of being absolutely sure.

Yes sometimes the paper labels get washed off and also the blue stamping can become faded to the point of being unable to read. I am a Capo collector (117 pieces) and rest assured your piece is Capo. There are quite a few copys out there but a collector can tell the difference immediately. Your piece is a true Capo. You do not have to use the ?
