PayPal Integration Update
As we announced earlier, we will begin integrating PayPal into the eBay.com platform beginning this week. The full integration of PayPal will take a few months. Among the changes you will see this week are:
*Choice of PayPal as a payment option on the Sell Your Item form;
*Visible placement of the PayPal logo on the View Item page when PayPal is offered by the seller;
*The ability to sort by listings that offer PayPal as a payment choice.
For more information on the specific changes, click here.
Sellers will continue to have the option to use the forms of payment they prefer to accept. PayPal will be another option for sellers who wish to offer it.
These changes will be available for auction-style and fixed-price listings on eBay.com, and in the Parts & Accessories and Everything Else categories of eBay Motors, though not in the Vehicles categories at this time. PayPal will be supported as a listing option on eBay Stores listings over the next few months. We do not plan to support PayPal on eBay's real estate or Sotheby's listings at this time. Globally, PayPal will be supported on eBay.co.uk over the next few weeks. eBay's other International sites may support PayPal as a payment option at a later date.
Billpoint will still be available as a payment option for registered sellers until after the first of the year. In a few weeks, however, sellers will no longer be able to register for Billpoint. We will provide more information regarding the phase-out of the Billpoint service over the next few months.
We're committed to ensuring that the integration of PayPal into the eBay platform is as seamless for our members as possible. We hope that these changes enhance your eBay experience.
